Das anlässlich des International Architecture Award 2019 erschienene Buch „New International Architecture“ veröffentlicht einen Artikel über die Sanierung und Erweiterung des Fritz-Henßler-Berufskollegs. Das Schulgebäude wurde mit dem International Architecture Award 2019 in der Kategorie Sanierung und Restaurierung ausgezeichnet.
